Acquadulza Bar and Restuarant

What used to be an old glue factory has be converted into a restaurant/bar based in the Italian municipality of Maccagno, Lombardy.

When entering this interior, the first room is the black room which is the tasting bar. This is a very simple room but the use of the black and the lighting makes it a dramatic space. I like this first interior space due to its simplicity of square forms without it being busy and allows the viewer to appreciate the space.

After entering the black room, it suddenly changes with this blue and green themed seating area, which is heavily lit with l.e.d lighting around this space. Also the squares/rectangular theme seems to have softened with curves used for the corners rather than sharp corners. The servery is very linear in design and tidy. It then takes you onto a relaxed seating area which is blue/purple in lighting and does give the feel of a relaxed space rather then a busy area like the servery area. Lighting is the main focal feature within this interior, in order to create different impressions, thoughts and moods when being within it.
