2009 International Forum on Urban Development and Planning

Supported by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, PRC and People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, People's Government of Harbin Municipality, working with Chinese Society for Urban Studies and Urban Planning Society of China, will hold the 2009 International Forum on Urban Development and Planning in Harbin on July 12th-13th, 2009. China’s urbanization grows with an average annual increase of one percentage in recent years, with urban population to 590 million. It’s predicted that by 2020, China’s urban population will continue to grow by 200 million.
